Here is my work on the Magic wand and Quick select Tools.
I started with this image of the Yellow submarine, The Beetles.

using the quick selection tool i removed the blue back ground, then erased all unnecessary extras in the image. (the 4 faces on the left hand side of the image and the text in the top right)
The submarine, with the background removed.
after removing the background i moved the image onto another in Photoshop and placed some copy’s around the picture. Here is the final product, non serious.
not a serious piece. just an example of using the magic wand/Quick select tools

Seeing that picture of the Beatles Yellow submarine reminded me of a toy that I used to have many years ago (think that it was made by Dinky???) of that very submarine. I can remember that the periscopes turned and that the Beatles members would pop out of trap doors. Ah, nostalgia, that is a thing of the past….
