I started with this image of the Yellow submarine, The Beetles.

using the quick selection tool i removed the blue back ground, then erased all unnecessary extras in the image.  (the 4 faces on the left hand side of the image and the text in the top right)

after removing the background i moved the image onto another in Photoshop and placed some copy’s around the picture. Here is the final product, non serious.

Camera controls

For my Camera controls piece of work, i explored different camera techniques. These camera techniques included Shutter speed and Aperture.

For shutter speed i explored fast and slow shutter speeds, varying from very fast shutter speeds like 1/1000th of a second and slow shutter speeds like 1/15 of a second

here are examples of shutter speeds .

Tortles

turtles,

turtles,

for this image i took 3 separate images: a tortoise, a rock and a sunset

by using the lasso, quick selection and eraser tools i removed the back ground of the tortoise image leaving just the tortoise in the image.

for the rock, i used the quick selection tool to mask out the background of the image, i then used the eraser to get rid of all the small details in the image.

I then placed the rock layer under the tortoise

finally i placed the sunset image behind the tortoise and the rock
